Wednesdays at Christ: Fall session 2 | New classes Begins October 3

Dinner at the Christ Cafe: 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Classes are from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., unless otherwise noted. 

Start off your evening with a delicious meal prepared by our own Chef Jonavin. Each week, the Wednesdays at Christ menu will be posted on christunited.com/christcafe. There will be a kid-friendly option available, and meals are $7 for adults and $5 for kids. Classes are six weeks in length, unless noted. Nursery is available for 0 - 3 years old.

Life Changing Prayer

Led by Pastor Rob Couch | Christ Center Assembly Area 

Prayer is so much more than you may have ever imagined! Even though prayer is a central part of the Christian life, many don’t really understand it and many struggle to have a fruitful prayer life. During this course you will find that prayer is far more than you ever imagined, and you will have an opportunity to jump-start your life of prayer. 

 

Deuteronomy 

Led by Pastor Jeremy Steele | Room A-209 

Deuteronomy functions in one sense as a national constitution of the people of Israel. Its words are incredibly sophisticated ancient legal text that conveys the laws of God in breathtaking poetic beauty. Join Pastor Jeremy as we explore the fifth book of the Pentateuch.

 

Judgement Call by Andy Stanley

Led by Cole Hitt | Parlor 

Many believe the Bible teaches us not to judge. But, is that true? Stanley tackles this confusing and often misunderstood topic using the teaching of Jesus and the instructions from Paul. Learn the appropriate way to make a judgement and to respond when others judge us. 

 

Five Love Languages for Singles by Gary Chapman 

Led by Pastor Jean Tippit | Hospitality Room

Different people with different personalities express love in different ways. Therefore, if you want to give and receive love most effectively, you’ve got to learn to speak the right language. Learning about the five love languages will help you: Discover the missing ingredient in past relationships | Learn how to communicate love in a way that can transform any relationship | Grow closer to the people you care about the most | Understand why you may not feel loved by those who genuinely care about you | Gain the courage to deeply express your emotions and affection to others. Putting this information into practice can help you in every relationship. 

 

Shattered 

Led by author Dyann Munoz | Room B-119 

This Bible study addresses hope and healing following the loss of a spouse either to death or divorce. There are 31 topics addressed such as Joy, Justice, Trust, Victory and Doing Good While You Heal. If you are suffering with this kind of loss this is a rare opportunity to share this study with the author. Book and workbook set available to purchase at first class meeting. 

 

Wednesdays at Christ Fall classes for kids and students

Students will be inspired and engaged as they understand and learn to apply the teachings of Jesus in their life. Nursery is available for 0 - 3 years old.

 

Shipwreck | For Preschool - 5th Grade

Dinner at the Christ Cafe begins at 5:00 p.m. | Kids Activities 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Led by Ashley Walker & Sam Gochey | Fellowship Hall

Join Ashley and Sam as they venture onto an uncharted island where kids are rescued by Jesus! Shipwreck anchors kids in the truth that Jesus carries them through every storm in life. They’ll learn to hold onto God’s promises when they are lonely, worried, struggling, in the wrong, and feeling powerless.

Led by Leigh Contratto | Student Area, Upstairs in Christ Center

Live Large, Be Different, Shine Bright:  Want to rise up and do things no one expects? Join us as we cover topics such as competition, laughter, cliques, encouragement, and several others that will guide you in the process of being a more vibrant follower of Jesus.

Middle School Bible Study | Join us each week as we dive into different books of the Bible and understand how they relate to our lives today.

Engage in the Movement: Want to make a difference in the world around you but not sure how? Join us for Engage in the Movement as we make our lives count by using the influences God has even us to make earth look more like heaven.

High School Bible Study | What is forgiveness? Who do we need to forgive? Just our friends or everyone who has done wrong to us? How do I know that I have been forgiven? Join us each week as we look at forgiveness.
