Contemporary Worship Arts Minister
Christ United Methodist church is seeking a full-time Contemporary Worship Arts Minister.
The successful candidate will oversee all contemporary worship venues at Christ UMC with their main responsibilities in the NewSong service. Duties will include:

  • Recruiting, training, and scheduling volunteers
  • Assisting in worship media responsibilities
  • Managing NewSong social media outlets
  • Stage Design

Finance Manager
Due to the upcoming retirement of our long-time Finance Manager, we are looking for the right person to fill this important role.  This is a full-time position with benefits.  The Finance Manager is responsible for performing or supervising all day-to-day financial functions of the church.  This includes all accounting and bookkeeping functions (contributions, A/R, A/P, G/L, bank reconciliations, deposits, month-end and year-end processing, etc.); financial monitoring & reporting; payroll, time & attendance; and other duties to be discussed.  The Finance Manager supervises staff and volunteers, including outside accounting, payroll, banking, software and other relationships.  He or She develops and implements sound accounting policies and procedures, maintain internal controls and fosters efficient management of church resources.  This person is also involved in Human Resources and Benefits functions as they interact with Payroll. 

Job requirements include a bachelor’s or associate’s degree in accounting or related discipline, or significant accounting/bookkeeping experience in lieu of a degree. Proficiency with computer systems in general and financial systems in particular is required.  Knowledge of non-profit and fund accounting are preferred.
