Each of the four Gospels tell us the story of the life and ministry of Jesus in rich and varied ways. Join this study of the Gospel of Mark, the shortest and earliest written of the four Gospels. Believed to be written by John Mark, an associate of Paul and a disciple of Peter, the Gospel will help us see clearly who Jesus is and who He is calling us to be.

It’s All About Relationships | Taught by Pastor Rob Couch | Hospitality Room | This seven-week course will help you better navigate the relationships of your life. Parents, grandparents, moms, dads, grown children, marrieds, singles, people dating, and other friends will all discover the powerful truths to make their relationships better, healthier, and more fulfilling. Pastor Rob will draw on resources from family systems theory, personal theory, birth-order theory, and God’s word to help you understand what YOU can do to improve this vital part of human life: our relationships!

Methodist is not a Four Letter Word | Taught by Pastor Jeremy Steele | Christ Center Assembly Area | The theology, history, and structure of the Methodist church is powerful, full of the Spirit, and enables transforming ministry all over the globe. Join Pastor Jeremy as we will discuss the deep theological, historical, and organizational roots of our particular perspective on Christianity.

Kings & Prophets: A Precept Upon Precept Study of Kings & 2 Chronicles | Led by Brenda Davis| A- 206| What happens when your heart is divided? What lessons can we learn for our lives from the examples of Solomon, Rehoboam, Jeroboam, and Abijam? What does God do when his people trust their own judgement and disobey Him? this study is broken up into 5 sections with each requiring its own study guide. Big Church by Andy Stanley| Led by Cole Hitt | Parlor | Two thousand years ago, a gathering of Middle-Eastern cities began a movement. Encircling the glove and leaving its mark on individuals and cultures on every continent, this movement would eventually become known as the church. In this study, the author brings to life the story of the formation of the church.

Leadership 101: Basic Lay Leadership Course for the United Methodist Church | Taught by John Sellers | A-207 | This ten week long course will teach you the basics of the United Methodist Church - Its beliefs, polity, and structure. You will also learn more about . the church and your own spiritual gifts and talents.

Nutrition | Taught by Erin Akey | A-209 | Join us as we learn about how our faith plays an integral role in the importance of being healthy. Using 1 Corinthians 10:31 as a guide, we can live a healthier lifestyle. Come away with practical tips on how to read labels and shop for the best food choices, as well as move towards a more balanced way of eating, as God intended.

DivorceCare | Led by Katrina Dewrell & Charles Briars | A-201 | Most people feel a little nervous about going to DivorceCare the first time, but that will not last long. Here you will find warm, caring people who want to help you. You will learn practical information, have a chance to talk about your experiences, and discover hope for the future. Preschool - 5th grade | Hero Central |Led by Ashley Walker & Sam Gochey | Fellowship Hall | Discover your strength in God! Kids will go on adventures alongside some of their favorite Bible heroes and discover the qualities that make us truly heroic in God.
 

Students

MIDDLE SCHOOL
How to Read the Bible for Teens | 6th - 8th Grade | Led by Leigh Contratto & Gloria Reed | Join us as we learn how to efficiently read the Bible so we can understand its background, meaning, similarities in other scriptures and then how to apply that scripture to our lives. We will learn through interactive story-telling, games, and more interesting ways to keep you excited about reading the Bible. You don’t want to miss this!
