United Methodist Women of Christ United welcomes all women and girls who have a heart for missions and a desire to learn more about issues related to aiding and empowering women, children and youth. Our purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ.

Who can join? United Methodist Women welcomes all women who commit themselves to our purpose.

  • You don't have to be a member of the United Methodist Church to join.

  • Our membership is diverse: women of many races, cultures, languages, young and old. There is no minimum age requirement.

What we do? You can participate through financial gifts and/or with hands-on service with national and local organizations. In 2013, the United Methodist Women of Christ United raised over $15,000 for missions and local agencies in addition to devoting many hours of service to such organizations as:

  • UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief)

  • McKemie Place

  • Sybil Smith Village

  • Penelope House

  • Inner City Missions

  • Victory Health Partners

  • Various Christ United ministries

Our Circles
United Methodist Women meet in small groups called Circles. Additional Circles may form to meet new interests through the year.
