Rise Against Hunger Meal Packing

Wednesday, November 20, 2024 | 1:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. | Christ Center Gym

We are looking for over 200 volunteers to help package and pack around 25,000 meals for Rise Against Hunger's world hunger relief efforts. Register to serve on one of the three shifts (one hour each) as part of an assembly line that will measure and funnel ingredients into plastic pouches to be weighed, sealed, labeled, and boxed for distribution to one of Rise Against Hunger's many hunger relief partners around the globe.

Volunteers of all ages (4 and up) and stamina levels (some seated) will each perform simple and steady tasks to help transform large bags of rice, soy, and other ingredients into cases of packaged meals that take only boiling water to prepare. Help us as we work together to change the world one meal at a time.
