Along the Way: Message Series

In ancient times, pilgrims traveled near and far to follow the path that Jesus walked during his last days of suffering. As they embarked upon this journey, they would find themselves pausing and meditating on each of the final events of his earthly life. This Lenten season join us at Christ United as we take a moment each Sunday to pause and meditate on the last hours before Christ’s crucifixion and burial.

As we sit before the pictures and retelling of his story, from his condemnation to his being laid in the tomb, may we be invited to ponder upon and deeply experience Jesus’ suffering. During our pondering may we discover compassion and gratitude that creates a longing for resurrection. In the midst of our longing may we begin to look past death to the hope of Easter life.
