Future Focus: Listening Sessions

Join Pastor Rob for a listening session about the future of our church. He will give a brief presentation and then allow people to express their thoughts about their hopes and dreams for our church. No sign up required – except for the Thursday lunch* shown below:

Listening Session Dates

• Wednesday, January 8 | 10:00 a.m. | Hospitality Room

• Monday, January 13 | 6:00 p.m. | Sanctuary

• *Thursday, January 30 | 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. | Hospitality Room | For this session, sign up is required to reserve a lunch ($10), or bring a bag lunch.

Our church disaffiliated from the United Methodist Church on September 11, 2023. At that time, our church leadership voted to allow up to two years before making any decisions regarding potential future affiliations to church networks or denominations. A few months ago, our Administrative Board approved a process of how we will move forward in our decision-making process. The first step of that process involves several congregation-wide listening sessions. During these sessions, Pastor Rob will give a brief overview of the options available to us and then he will allow time for people to express their thoughts verbally and in writing.
