Soul Care: Moving Faithfully Forward in Soul Health

The United Women in Faith presents the 2nd Annual Soul Care Experience with guest speaker, Pastor Darlene Blake who currently serves as Chaplain at Saad's Retreat. Based on Romans 12:1, the theme is Moving Faithfully Forward in Soul Health. Check-in at 8:30 a.m., and the program begins at 9:00 a.m. Following the speaker, we’ll break our into other activities:

  • Stretch and Balance Your Faith

  • Prayer Room

  • A Craft Activity

  • Walking in Faith

Light refreshments served for mid-morning break. Conference concludes at 11:30 a.m.

Speaker, Pastor Darlene Blake

Pastor Darlene Blake

Pastor Darlene Blake is an experienced chaplain with extensive experience in hospice care and outreach, helping those in need both naturally and spiritually. She states that this outreach gives her the opportunity to assist individuals seeking a relationship with Jesus. She is also affiliated with the Wings of Life and Metro ministries in Mobile and surrounding communities. She has worked with Southern Care Hospice for 9 years and is currently with SAAD’s Hospice Team for 7 years, totaling 16 years in hospice care work.

Blake shares that her mother was on hospice in October 2024, during which she served as her chaplain until her passing. She acknowledges the emotional difficulty of the experience but emphasizes her commitment to continue serving others. Blake aims to support individuals in need and is always available for those seeking comfort and assistance. To God be the Glory.
