Domestic abuse affects more than just the individuals who are directly abused. Friends and family members are also touched by the trauma. Many don't know how to respond or help, others need to have a place they can safely share their concerns or learn healthy ways to deal with the challenges that abuse brings to individuals and relationships far beyond the primary target of that abuse. Our Ministry Partner, Penelope House (a local shelter for victim of Domestic Violence and their children), will provide leadership for this support group. If you have a family member or friend living in an abusive relationship, this may be an opportunity for you to learn, feel support, and connect with others.
