Sisterhood in Missions

The mission-focused group, formerly known as United Methodist Women and later renamed United Women of Faith, has taken steps to develop a new, independent Women’s Mission effort called Sisterhood in Missions. You’re invited to be part of this exciting, emerging new effort. Sisterhood Gathering

Saturday, March 21 | 10:00 a.m. - Noon | CCAA

Join us for our first gathering. Come enjoy coffee, a light snack, and fellowship as we share ideas and opportunities to engage in mission. Childcare provided with prior registration by noon on March 18. See sign up below. Please provide a snack and drink for your child. Esther Circle

2nd Tuesday | 9:45 a.m. | A-201

As the largest circle, members lead the preparation and distribution of the Christ United donations for the yearly school supply drive for Dixon Elementary School and have an annual workday at the school. Members support Lifegate, Penelope House, and Victory Health Partners. For more information, email Nancy Calderone.

 

Crossroads Circle

4th Tuesday | 12:30 p.m. | A-201

This small, but active circle provides or serves meals for McKemie Place monthly. Other service projects include financial support for Babies First, Celebrate Recovery, Lifegate, Inner City Mission as well as visits to extended care facilities. Mary and Martha Virtual Circle Members-at-Large

1st of each Month via Facebook

Rather than holding monthly virtual meetings, members of Mary and Martha Virtual Circle have elected to become members-at-large. They will “drop in” at meetings of Crossroads and Esther Circles at their convenience or hold occasional Zoom meetings.
